Only in AmeriKKKa (WITH VIDEO)

Wow. After being all but invisible during her first nine months in office, Councilwoman Anastasia Robertson, D-District 2, certainly raised some eyebrows – and the tempers of more than a few – with her public comments about the riots in Ferguson Missouri.
Robertson's post on Facebook
“This is a deliberate action of force … the end means does (sic) in fact seem to be leading to rounding up and executing us as a people … Does America want to have a race war? Or are we baited for a systematic change in how blacks are dealt with in this country,” she said in an Aug. 19 post on Facebook.
In another post on the same day, she refers to this country as AmeriKKKa and goes on to say “at what point to we simply face the facts that AmeriKKKa has no love for the black nation.” Later in the same post she says: “Does AmeriKKKA want a race war??? What other message can be ascertained from the directives of militarization against our people irrespective of circumstance or statute, simply by virtue of being BLACK … we are hogs to the slaughter … I am saddened.”

The posts were first reported by The Mental Recession.
Wow.
Robertson's post on Facebook
And the scary part about it is she really believes there is a vast conspiracy by whites to “execute” blacks. At least Al Sharpton, and even Rev. Willie Bacote, promoted and then extorted the black/white divide to make a buck and satisfy some sort of weird messiah complex.
But to really believe there is a coordinated effort by whites to execute blacks is scary on the one hand and counterproductive on the other in that it just propagates the whole "I'm a victim" mindset.

Yes, there is racial profiling by some police departments (below is an interesting video on the topic and the idea of victimhood) and there are some who continue to violate the Civil Rights of black people. That doesn't mean all whites don't like all blacks. That is narrow minded and, quite frankly, offensive.
ROBERTSON
I’m not going to pretend to know what’s going on down in Ferguson and the racial tension Robertson was commenting on, but I do know that there isn’t any orchestrated efforts by whites to keep the black man down. If there is, nobody filled me in on it and last time I checked I was a white guy.
Wait, I just saw on the news AmeriKKKa elected a black president, so at least 50 plus 1 percent of the population must have been left out of the loop too.
That said, I’m sure there are some people who don’t like black people because they are black. Just like there are some people who don’t like Jews, Italians or Germans because of where their ancestors were born or their choice of God.
I don’t like people like that. That’s my opinion and my choice. It's AmeriKKKa and I have the freedom to like or not like what I want. Not liking is one thing, but there are laws in AmeriKKKa passed nearly five decades ago protecting everyone's rights.
Robertson is in also in AmeriKKKa - much to her obvious chagrin - so she too is entitled to her own opinion. It’s her choice. She is, though, an elected representative on the Troy City Council. Voters made that choice. And they will have that choice again about 14 months from now.

  1. Totally completely unabashedly bs. She is herself a racist. I live in her District and am ashamed she represents me on the Council. She should resign. If she trues to run again shell lose. Wow still can't believe I just read that and yes councilwoman I'm white and yes I vote.

  3. I am white, I live in district 2, and I vote. I think Anastasia is on track and understands broader societal issues. There is both institutional and overt racism that impacts on many minorities in this country, from education, to jobs, to health. We continue to see unarmed young black men and women killed indiscriminately everyday. Ferguson was just a tip of the iceberg. And if we do not figure out how to treat everyone, regardless of race and ethnicity, with respect and value, there could easily be a race war. We make assumptions because someone is wearing a hoodie in a white neighborhood. We shoot through a door because a black women is on our doorstep. There are multiple other examples. It is easy to dismiss Anastasia because of the words she uses. It is not so easy to dismiss her when you start understanding both the history of how people who are ethnic and racial ethnic minorities were treated and the current issues the devalue many members of our society!

    1. You should look up facts before posting your uneducated rant. In 2013 7,999 black males were murdered. 93% of them were murdered by other black males. Less than 1% of black males killed are killed by "white" cops. Stop using the "I'm a victim" crap and stop using it as an excuse for your short comings in life.

    2. Exactly what I was going to say! Where is the outrage over black youths killing each other?

    3. Heard on the radio today 73.5% of African American homes are single parent maybe she should work on that instead of this garbage.

    4. You should also take an educated look at national ethnicities before inciting a "race war".

    6. You should look at the facts. A disproportionate number of blacks are in prison compared to whites, and as many papers are now reporting, many of them are innocent. Everyday another person of color is released because he or she is innocent. Virtually all of the deaths by cops involved someone who is a person of color. Between 2004 and 2008 in Oakland, 45 people were killed by cops, all people of color. And the other cities aren't much better. Describing black on black violence does not negate the institutional racism in this country, only perpetuates it.

    7. @ 11:37am Come bang on my door drunk, yelling and screaming at 4am and you'll most likely get shot through a door too....black or white. Don't post half the story and hide behind false statistics. Now run along and give Anastasia a pat on the back

    9. Bullshit. I understand the history and it doesn't matter. She's a racist and she's inciting violence. You'll be the only self-loathing white voting for her next election cycle, but knock yourself out.

    10. Disproportionate number of blacks in prison to whites? Are you kidding? What's your answer - for every black man convicted to a prison sentence pick out one random white dude to serve the same amount of time?
We have been trained to keep our heads in the sand and people refuse to speak out in more than a grumbled whisper about what it's really like out there and guess what - you don't have drive-by shootings, robberies, muggings, rapes, random attacks, stabbings and rampant drug dealing by gangs over on Pinewoods Ave or up on 124th St.
The blacks in this country grow up in fatherless, directionless homes where the "family" is an abstract concept and just as much as "the future" is.
Maybe instead of trying to fix the 85% of the country that doesn't have to hurt people and society, we fix the problems in the ghetto.

    11. Suggesting placing a white person in prison to account for the disproportionality is a case of "Reduction ad Absurdum" rather than dealing with the issue at hand. Marginalization of certain segments of our society through lack of education, health care, etc. are creating the problems. The rapes, murders, gangs, assaults, etc. are all a symptom of the institutional racism. If you want to solve the problem, fix the segmentation in our society not promote it!

    12. Rape is a result of institutional racism? You're an idiot. Violent crime is a result of CRIMINALITY. Jews were persecuted and marginalized for years. If institutional racism causes violent crime, why aren't there gangs of Jews dealing drugs and shooting people in broad daylight? You're full of shit.

    13. @1:19 no response? No surprise. Typical liberal pussy, lots of big words and self righteous posturing but when confronted with actual logic you run away. Say hi to your fellow moonbats at the Sanctuary.

  4. One more example. Explain to me how a young black main, searched twice, handcuffed behind his back, shoots himself in the back in the back of a police car. And the coroner reported it a suicide even though he rules that the young black man was actually shot in the abdomen and the bullet exited his back! It is your choice. You can continue to blame the messenger or start understanding the true issues facing segments of our population.

  7. I would be a lot less inclined to dismiss her if she was actually talking about issues instead of telling people the gov't is going to round up Blacks and execute them all. No one denies there are racial problems in this country- but we need people who really understand how to make things work better, not create an even greater atmosphere of hate and fear and lunacy. She's rendered herself ineffective and incapable. Even without these statements, she's been pretty much useless.

  8. Great stuff James. Your blog has more Troy news than the Troy Record. If I want to read about Joann Yepsen or if there is a new place to buy a hot cup of coffee downtown, the Record is for you.

This type of stuff only divides a community. I agree sometimes you need to shake things up, but calling out white people to start a race war? Nobody needs that. This is completely irresponsible behavior.

  9. Born and raised in Troy but moved years ago due to work obligations. I'm sickened by this vile hatred. We all got along and our parents watched out for all of us. I read about the crime and murders and can't believe it. This women Anastasia won over the McGrath guy? What happened to my city?

    2. Mark McGrath was termed out - she didn't run against him and likely wouldn't have beaten him. She ran against Kim Mazor who would have been the better councilperson, but she lined up with the Republicans. You just can't trust the republicans.

    3. 3:10 and 9:29 the two (or one of you) are laughable. He was and still is a highly respected man who knew the people in his district. He did more in his 8 years than she has done this past year!

Kim should have won, no doubt about that!

    4. What did Mark actually do?

    5. She ran against Kim Mazor, who has the personality of sandpaper. Republicans lose because they put up shitty candidates.

Here's the thing about running for office: you actually have to get off your ass and campaign, and you have to be nice to people. Need I say more?

    7. The only energy they use is to campaign. Then they don't do shit afterwards.

  10. Anastasia Robertson...guided by Rev. Tim and Rodney. Need I say anymore? Oh yes, there's Kenny Z.

  11. Spewing this kind of hatred does nothing but increase the racial divide. Bottom line is this.. indigenous black men and women are far less successful than those who have immigrated in their lifetime. The problem may lie in part due to some racism, but to dismiss African American's problems on institutional racism is both uninformed and ignorant. If 70 percent of the African American population is having children out of wedlock, they're already behind the curve. Let's look at the issues within each of our races before pointing your finger at others. It does nothing but fan the flames and help to contribute to a larger divide.

  13. Ms. Robertson can say/do anything she wants in this country no matter how misguided it may be but she should be glad she isn't in ISIS country because it is kinda hard to spew unwarranted complaints with a "missing head". America can do better but racism will never totally die. If she doesn't like it here, move to the Middle East, you'll be "begging" to come back!

  14. Anastasia is an embarrassment to Troy. She is siding with a segment of the population that is extremely ignorant and causing 99% of the continuous problems in the city. She should be held accountable as a city official and not get a pass because of her race. She is playing a dangerous game.

    1. She just proved what a jerk she is by leaving the council meeting. What a poor excuse of an elected official. With all that is going on in her district and she is no where to be found. I call for her immediate resignation!!!! I had no respect for her before and especially now. I just wonder would this have happened if a black officer was present? I think not

      Delete
  15. The good councilwomen got up and walked out under fire. As with the very same people she represents refused to take responsibility for her actions-words. Her brother in arms Rodney tried to stop the officer describing a factual scenario as a personnel attack. Fortunately when the officer questioned his demand Rodney folded like the pussy that he is. All talk no action. If you watched it you saw the race baiters and the worst group of elected officials ever to hold office. Sickening.
